Before you register
A few simple notes to help parents choose and register with ease.
How strict are the age groups?
Age bands are chosen with the facilitator and the format in mind. If your child is close to the range, contact BOB and we will help you decide gently and practically.
When is my child’s seat confirmed?
Your registration is received first. BOB confirms the seat after the payment is verified, usually through WhatsApp.
What if an event is marked Housefull or Closed?
Please use Contact BOB. We can let you know if there is a waitlist, a last-minute opening, or a future batch planned.
Can siblings register together?
Yes. Choose the number of seats while registering and add sibling names or age notes in the special instructions field.
Should I mention allergies or dietary restrictions?
Yes, especially for food-led events. Please add the details during registration or message BOB in advance so the team can plan safely.
Do parents need to stay?
Some family formats invite parent participation; some workshops are child-led. The event details will usually make this clear, and BOB can guide you if unsure.

BOB began with a simple belief: the right book and the right experience at the right time can stay with a child for life.
What BOB Is
A curated children's bookstore and learning studio in Jakkur, North Bengaluru.
At BOB, books are not arranged only as products on shelves. They are chosen, recommended and shared with care. The collection brings together picture books, early readers, middle-grade fiction, Indian writing, global favourites, graphic novels, non-fiction, activity books and carefully selected titles for children from the early years through the teenage years.
Alongside the bookstore, the BOB studio hosts storytelling, art, theatre, music, puppetry, reading circles, author sessions, creative workshops, school engagements, celebrations and family programmes. Some children come to find a book. Some come for an event. Many stay for both.
BOB is a space for children, parents, educators and storytellers — a place where books, creativity and community meet gently.

Our Story
Choosing books for children should feel meaningful, not overwhelming.
BOB began with the idea that choosing books for children should feel less overwhelming and more meaningful. In a world of endless choices, many parents know they want their children to read, imagine and explore — but are not always sure where to begin.
BOB was created to make that journey warmer and easier: a place where families could discover books that feel right for a child's age, interests, questions and stage of growing up.
Over time, the bookstore naturally grew into a learning studio. Stories began moving beyond the page — into art, theatre, music, movement, conversations, school programmes and small-group experiences.

Her journey with children, schools, families, libraries, educational institutions, literary festivals and organisations slowly shaped the idea that stories are not just something children listen to — they are something children live through, respond to and carry with them.
That belief led naturally to Bond Over Bindings: a space where carefully chosen books and thoughtfully designed experiences come together for children and families.
